Motorcycle Helmet Fitting Question ?
There are 2 sizes that I fall into. A medium and a small. I can fit in the small size helmets, (some) but it feels tight. But how tight is too tight? It’s hard to really tell, and I am debating if I should get a medium or small. I also hear 80% get a helmet that is too big since at the time they try it it feels right. But I know the helmet kinda “breaks in” like a shoe but only 10 – 15 % right? I have never worn a helmet before all these years, but now the law has caught up with me. So what size do you recommend I get? Any suggestions on more ways to tell if the helmet fits me? I would like to know.
And yup… I am the same person who asked the question about “what helmet to get” too…. Turns out I am getting the more expensive one, the seven zero seven.

i am going to tell you from experience. i used to wear an extremely tight helmet when i was racing. then i had a bad crash and was knocked unconscious. since i wasn’t awake to help, it took them 20 minutes just to get my helmet off, which almost cost me my life. since then i have worn a helmet that was a little bigger. also, i have been in more crashes and knocked unconscious, the larger is better!
